Jake and Nicole have been married since 2009 and have a son and daughter whom they love raising in the house of God. The Sweetman family is characterized by persistent generosity, firm loyalty, and genuine joy and integrity. They launched Cathedral, formerly C3 Los Angeles, in 2015 and have faithfully led the church with vision and joy since.

Pastor Jake is a gifted teacher with a deep passion for theology, Christ-centered worship inspired by Revelation 4 & 5, and empowering believers to discover and develop their spiritual gifts. His teaching reflects a commitment to sound doctrine and a heart to see people grow in their faith and relationship with God.

Jake is also the co-host of the Archway Bible Podcast with Elijah Lamb, where they help Christians make sense of the Bible in a practical, engaging way. Each episode explores Scripture thoughtfully, showing how the stories, themes, and lessons connect to form God’s bigger story for our lives today.

Pastor Nicole is known for her poetic speaking and prophetic gifting, Nicole leads with vulnerability and a passion for helping people grow into who God has created them to be.

As the leader of our women’s ministry, Daughters, Nicole is unwavering in her mission to see every woman—whether as a wife, mom, friend, or individual—rooted in the truth of scripture and thriving in every good work through Christ Jesus.
